For my 33rd birthday me and my husband ventured to Winston Salem historic downtown where we found the unique Cardinal Kimpton Boutique hotel! During this time I knew I wanted to incorporate uniqueness into my creative mind frame and piece it within my photography visions. I invited my friend Danielle into town and threw all of my ideas as she incorporated outfits to match my thoughts! I love boudoir photography, I love the sexiness and the femininity that go into it! within these shots I was able to play with different add ons and attachments. I used a piece of tan sheer that I ordered off of temu lol. It made the most glowy and dreamy set of images! I'll definitely be incorporating this into my weddings and boudoir shoots in the future! I've always been drawn to the moodier and warm vibes in my editing process. Those deeper brown tones I can't help but to be so drawn towards! I use to use presets that chased that exact tone... however no preset in the world will EVER look the same on every photo! I began to realize that I love the way my photos look in camera but I needed to spunk them up a bit... Over my 12 years of photographing professionally, I've learned that less IS more! Taking a more natural approach in life AND my photography But, also not being afraid to branch when necessary! Finding the use of my shadows instead of running has been a game changer to the confidence in my mind when it comes to shooting! Finishing our boudoir series with these beautiful body images! So incredibly proud of both myself and the model for breaking our comforts and growing together as artists!
stay tuned for the couples series...
